Bob Colayco

Bob Colayco is a 25+ year veteran of the game industry. He spent the early part of his career as a journalist, covering games for various sites including GameSpot. He then transitioned into in-house public relations for global game publishers including Blizzard Entertainment, Riot Games, Square Enix, Phoenix Labs, and Tencent.

Bob has shipped and supported games from major global franchises including World of Warcraft, League of Legends, Final Fantasy, StarCraft, Kingdom Hearts, and many more. His work in PR has included product PR strategy, corporate communications, executive presentations, events, and other areas.

Outside of work, Bob enjoys family time, sports (LA Lakers, LA Dodgers, Tottenham Hotspur), prestige television shows, and of course, playing games! Current favorite genres include strategy, RPG, rogue-likes, and Metroidvanias. But as a former game reviewer, Bob can and will try anything!
